Nonlinear Control for Bioprocesses with Model Uncertainties and External Disturbances

In this paper, a new alternative for profiles tracking control considering additive uncertainties is proposed. Based on previously presented work about nonlinear and multivariable controller design fed-batch bioethanol production, parametric uncertainty process disturbance are taken into account to find more reliable strategy successful industrial implementation. To decrease the effect, an approach based error estimation using Newton’s backward interpolation included in equations. The proposed modification assures convergence zero (demonstration shown) despite uncertainties, which one of main contributions work. A comparison between new, original proposal, another methodology exposed.
